Volunteer of the Year Award
The greatest personal enjoyment comes through volunteering your time on a regular basis to organizations who need your help. Organizations like the Mt. Zion Chamber of Commerce depend on the service and commitment of their volunteers.
The Volunteer of the Year Award is in recognition of a member volunteer who exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism and community leadership through participation in the Mt. Zion Chamber of Commerce committees, programs, activities, luncheons, fundraisers, and/or events. This award is given to a Chamber volunteer who has gone above and beyond the norm in service and dedication to the Chamber.
The Mt. Zion Chamber of Commerce knows it takes a village of people to run any business or organization. The Chamber is no different. The Board felt it was important to recognize those who have contributed their time, talents, and support to the Chamber. In 2016, the Chamber began the Volunteer of the Year Award.
The MZCC Board appreciates the hard work and dedication given by their volunteers. The Volunteer of the Year Award is awarded each year to one outstanding member at the Annual Meeting in the spring.
